I offer a hands-off support that empowers you and your partner. Birth works best when a person feels safe, trusted, supported and also when their partner feels confident in their role. I offer resources and guidance before birth and support quietly in the background, stepping in only when needed during birth.

- (1) 90 minute prenatal meeting to discuss birth plan, and vision as well as hopes and fears (we will also combine our birth photography meeting into this meeting)

-Access to my pregnancy, labor and birth toolkit with over 80 pages-sent through email

-Day time text/call support starting at 38 weeks to 2 weeks postpartum

-Curated resources for birth plan and postpartum wishes

-Text/call support in early labor until my arrival for birth photography once in deep active labor (6-7cm)

-During labor, I offer verbal and position guidance for you and your partner only when invited or truly needed

-Resources for postpartum care

+everything that is included with my birth photography package

Please note that this is a little different than full Doula Support. READ BELOW FOR THE DIFFERENCE

How Is My Birth Support Different from Full Doula Support?

Full doula support typically includes multiple prenatal visits, continuous labor support from early labor onward, and postpartum visits after birth. Full-service doulas often arrive as soon as labor begins (or whenever you request), provide more hands-on physical support during labor, and offer immediate postpartum care. At this time, I do not offer full doula services or postpartum visits — though I’m always happy to recommend some of my favorite postpartum doulas in the area.

My birth support is intentionally different.

I offer call and text support during early labor, then arrive once you are in deep active labor (typically around 6–7 cm). I remain for 2–3 hours postpartum for birth photography. During labor, my approach is calm and hands-off, offering guidance only when truly needed or requested.

My goal is not to direct your birth, but to help you and your partner feel prepared, confident, and supported. Through our meeting and continued communication before your birth, we focus on helping you understand what to expect and how to work together so your partner can be your primary source of support.

I am always available when you or your partner need reassurance, information, or grounding while still protecting your space, focus, and autonomy.

Birth is unpredictable, and no one can guarantee or predict how your birth will unfold.

I don’t promise specific outcomes, timelines, or types of birth. Instead, I focus on supporting you through whatever your birth becomes. My role is to help you feel informed, supported, and grounded no matter the path your birth takes.

Which is best for you? If you are looking for more frequent physical touch and comfort from someone other than your partner as well as a more directive and involved presence than I recommend hiring someone who offers full doula support (I can give recommendations). If you do not want constant touch (from someone other than your partner) and are looking for minimal direction and prefer space, quiet and internal focus during labor then I may be a good fit for you!
